The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) is an international organization that provides guidance and professional development for advancing student achievement through the use of technology.

ISTE’s work is especially important as the next generation of student assessments emerge in 2014, as the new assessments will be one hundred percent online. ISTE also offers technology standards for students, teachers and school districts that support transition to Common Core and prepare for new online assessments.
