ASSETS (Assessment Services Supporting English Learners through Technology Systems) is a state-led consortium that seeks to provide innovative and comprehensive assessment tools to help English learners (ELs) succeed in becoming college- and career-ready. The system will be operational in 2015-16.
ASSETS is funded by a $10.5 million Enhanced Assessment grant which supports the development of a next generation assessment system that measures students progress in attaining English proficiency needed to succeed in college and career.
Visitors may try out a few sample test questions on the technology platform that many students will use while taking the PARCC assessments. Sample test questions are provided for elementary, middle, and high school grade bands.
